Sleep better, and handle the morning after.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Risk management professional. Author. A former night-shift worker who learned that carrying on is not the same as being unimpaired.
Julian’s experience includes night security patrols in Sydney, work in the Pilbara, Army Reserve service and remote operations in Tanzania. Across those settings, preparing for a difficult day was often as important as trying to prevent it.
He is the lead author of the Risk Management Body of Knowledge and its security counterpart. His work has included senior risk advice at the Australian Department of Health and Ageing and property and security leadership at Austrade.
Better Nights, Better Next Days brings that practical habit to sleep: improve the arrangements before a night, and prepare for the morning when things do not go to plan.
Julian is not a doctor, psychologist or sleep specialist. The book and this site provide general education for adults, not diagnosis or treatment. Clinical questions belong with qualified professionals; workplace fatigue procedures and local law come first.
